Background
I worked for several years as an editor and audio visual producer at the award-winning advertising agency, Wieden+Kennedy in Amsterdam, working on global campaigns for clients such as Nike, Coca-Cola and Heineken. I’ve also been an editor for the world’s leading independent developer and publisher of video games, Electronic Arts working on the popular Harry Potter The Videogame series. I’ve been freelancing since 2006, working across a range of genres, including drama and documentary. I love what I do, and bring new ideas and passion to every project.
My Skills
I edit with Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. I’ve managed Mac based edit suites and digital archives, and am meticulous about organisation during the entire project cycle. I have a near encyclopaedic knowledge of codecs and compressions. I’ve also taught editing to film and journalism students.
My Specialities
I can find the story and best moments hidden in hours of footage, can edit my way out of a blind alley, and am particularly ruthless at cutting lengthy material down to a more impactful short. Less is more.
